What is Invisalign?
Invisalign aligners are clear, comfortable trays that are custom made to fit each patient. We do this by taking impressions of your teeth so the trays fit accurately to each patient. Each set of trays are worn for approximately two weeks and then switched out for the next set until the series is complete and your teeth are straight.
Each set of trays have pressure points on different areas of the teeth to provide movement and straightening of the teeth. There are different kinds of Invisalign treatment that take anywhere from six months to about two years depending on how severe the teeth are crowded.
Most cases, however, can be treated in six to twelve months.
